Shiloh was our first AmStaff. I originally took home two of her litter mates to choose from, but made the mistake of going back and looking at the litter pictures one more time. I saw Shiloh, and I had to have her. Even as a puppy she had that "look". Shiloh finished easily, along the way winning Best Of Opposite Sex in Puppy Sweepstakes at the Great Western Terrier Specialty. She went on that same day to take Winner's Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex - over several specials. Shiloh is an integral part of our family, and now spends most of her time on the couch. Many thanks to Charlie and Kim Nelson of Bear Mountain Terriers for giving us the opportunity to have this wonderful dog as our beginning. Update: Shiloh went Best of Opposite Sex in Veteran Sweepstakes at Great Western - 6 years after her first sweeps win - proving she still has what it takes!

Sammi is our first homebred champion! She is a lovely bitch with correct size and conformation, and an awesome temperament. In her first two weekends out at six months of age, she picked up 8 points. We have just started Sammi in obedience, and hope to be competing with her soon. With her penchant for never having all four feet on the ground at the same time, we may try agility as well! Sammi will be bred for the first time either this fall or next spring - we are very excited about what she might produce.

"Lyric"

Lyric lives up to her name - anyone who has meet her has probably been treated to one of her "songs". She has the nickname of "wiggle-butt", because along with her singing, she can't seem to hold herself still whenever she meets someone new - including judges! Despite that, Lyric finished her championship exclusively owner-handled with a supported entry Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex. She is currently in obedience training, and we have high hopes of obtaining her CD and ROH. Lyric has been bred twice, and we are so proud of all the pups. She has 3 champions from her first litter including a Specialty winner, with the fourth only a major away.  From her second litter, the pups are just starting their show careers, and one is already halfway to his championship, with two others close behind, and a fourth that is getting ready! We couldn't have asked for a better foundation bitch, or a better friend and companion.

Congratulations to our newest champion - CH Shiloh's Steel Magnolia! "Shelby" finished completely owner-handled by her owner, Tina Prewitt, taking a major win at the Palm Springs Regional Specialty and first in a large 12-18 months class at the 2003 National Specialty along the way. We are very happy with this beautiful, typey girl, and can't wait to see what she will produce. Shelby will be bred late Spring/early Summer  2005 to CH Royal Court's Headline News.

We co-own this beautiful dark brindle bitch with our good friend Jennifer Moxley. Payton is a very energetic girl with a beautiful outline and absolutely gorgeous movement. Her intensity makes her quite the show dog, and also paves the way for her obedience work. She has been shown to both of her majors by Jennifer, as well as winning Best in Sweepstakes at the 2004 Palm Springs supported entry show. Payton finished her championship in style with 3 majors, taking WB and BOW at the Great Western Regional Specialty show for a 5 point major. In the future, look for Payton in the obedience ring with Jennifer. Payton was bred by Kim Davis & Charlie Nelson of Bear Mountain Terriers.
 

CH. Shiloh's Spellbound
"Piper"

Piper is probably one of the best dogs we have bred. She is standard sized, incredibly balanced, with a stunning head and expression, and effortless movement. We couldn't be happier with how she has turned out. She won Best in Sweepstakes at the 2005 Palm Springs supported entry show, and finished her championship at the 2005 Northern California Regional Specialty, going Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for a 5 point major! This makes Piper our second generation of homebred Specialty Winners. All of this was accomplished before she was 18 months old. Piper makes friends wherever she goes with her outgoing personality, and consistently gets compliments from other AmStaff breeders. We are positive that Piper will make some great contributions to our breeding program, following in her grandmother's and mother's footsteps!
